As a part of my graduate classes at WPI I will begin work on my term long paper by investigating and analyzing aeroelastic effects and how those drive design in composite aircraft wings. I'll be diving deep into the underlying structure, composites, and aerodynamic systems of these wings, and how they can proper design can be used to prevent dangerous outcomes such as flutter. If interested in the same topic take a brief look at these papers I have already used to research the topic.

Aeroelastic Tailoring of Composites

I recently completed a term-long paper covering the ways we tailor composites to improve the aeroelastic effects on aircraft, and detailed a few examples that have been used in real engineering practi
